Field Day at Ellie's school!! I got to go and tag along with the kids; they even let me play some of the games with them!!

Valentine's Day

It was a great Valentine's Day! I got to help in both girls classes and spend some down time with my hubby!! I love the simplicity of the whole day. We just enjoyed each others company without all the frills. I keep being taught over and over that simple is better!!

Ellie's baptism day

This is Ellie before we left for the stake center. She has not a care in the world!!

Sister Mead and Ellie. She is Ellie's all time favorite primary teacher! Sister Mead has been super supportive of our kids and continues to come to special events in our life even though we don't live very close any longer. She is a wonderful individual!

Ellie was also supported by her Grandma and Grandpa Belt and Grandma and Grandpa Albaugh. Plus, Uncle Mike flew down and also played a beautiful piano solo at the baptism.


We had many other friends and family that came to support Ellie on her special day, but me being the anxious person I am did not think to pull out my camera again and get pictures of them all!

Christmas time at Preschool

Lauryn is attending "Little Stars" preschool and is enjoying it so much!! She has begun reading some words and memorizing books to "pretend" to read!! I am so glad she has the desire to learn.

Run for your Turkey!!

It is a tradition in my family that we run the Orem Earn your Turkey each year at Thanksgiving. Do we ever win anything? We don't know because we never stay for the awards! Ha ha!! This tradition began after Chris and I moved to Las Vegas. We go to my aunts house for Thanksgiving and early on Thanksgiving morning we pull ourselves out of bed to go freeze our behinds off all for a race! Yes, we are crazy, but it is tons of fun!

No princesses again!

I told the girls that I did not want to do princesses again this year, I wanted them to think of something else. As you can see we have a hard time thinking outside the box!

Staycation:)

Chris and I had our 10 year anniversay in August. We decided since we had never been anywhere without our children we would take a break! We rented a room at Hooters, I know, I know, but it was cheap and close to the strip and we got deals on food and shows with it. What can I say we are frugal!
Anyway, we stayed two nights, saw Phantom, went shopping(my husband is the best), strolled the strip, and enjoyed not having any demands. It was great!




Funny thing, I was so excited to go that while packing I left out some important tools. I forgot my makeup, hair brush, hair products. I am looking might fine, I know!!
